Down the stairs (a) after a much needed rest in Tristram the party encounter a group of horrors.  Magnus bashes one with the flat blade of his glaive.  however they all surround blog goth but he managed to dodge all their attacks.  Suddenly a ball of fire filled the chamber as sadak cast one of his deadly fireballs killing 5 horrors instantly.  With a powerful blow, Lysander strikes down one of the horror captains and then turning around he killed another captain.  The last horror captain died in the scorching flames snaking their way out of sadak's hands.  Lysander went over to the book and started to read passages from it.  It was entitled the chamber of bones.  Sadak stooped to pick up 136 gp from one of the corpses while magnus found a light repeating crossbow among the bones of another.  The chest which blog goth checked was empty.

As Lysander finished reading the book, a swarm of gloom bats and dark familiars attacked (b).  He cast upon himself a spell to resist elemental electricity while sadak enhanced his defense with his mage armor.  The bats attack the fighter but only one managed to wound him.  Magnus retaliated and killed one of the gloom bats while on the other side of the chamber blog goth wounded one of the dark familiars.  Lysander hit another familiar.  Flames leapt from sadak's burning hands wounding all the flying beasts, enough for lysander to finish off one.  He also hit a familiar.  The bats surround the barbarian and discharged a sizzling electrical shock into his body which left him badly injured.  Lysander hit the injured familiar but it soon came to a scorching end from sadak's wicked spell.  The last two of the demonic beast flew over to the fighter and attacked him, leaving him badly wounded too.  The barbarian slashed at one of the familiars and with his second blow it fell down dead to the ground.  Lysander stabbed at the last remaining bat, hitting it slightly but it was sadak who killed the flying menace!

After healing the barbarian, the party went deeper into the dungeon (c).  Another couple of gloom bats attacked from the darkness.  Sadak immediately cast a magical missile on one of them, while magnus struck dead the first bat.  The other bat aimed straight for the barbarian, shocking him slightly while managing to avoid attacks from both blog goth and lysander.  Sadak cast again another magical missile while the fighter brought down the flying threat with his glaive.

They venture forth into another chamber (d) and come face to face with a horde of bats!  Everyone retreats as sadak prepares his deadly fireball spell, which when he cast killed 2 gloom bats immediately and injured a couple of dark familiars.  Magnus moves in to block the narrow path between the bats and sadak.  In the process he attacked the bat and hit him slightly.  The bat retaliated and merely scratched the fighter.  The second dark familiar advanced but magnus dodged his attack.  Lysander immediately summoned a hippogriff which attacked one of the bats but failed to hit it.  Both lysander and blog goth advance up to the familiars ready to attack it.  In the meanwhile sada had climbed up to the ceiling of the dungeon and crawled behind the bats.  Using his dragon breath he killed both the familiars with the acid of the spell.  A quick search among the remains sadak found 154gp and lysander found 148gp from a corpse and 184 gp from another.

In another chamber (e) the adventurers encounter some blood clan goat demons and dark familiars.  The demons tried to shoot magnus with the arrows but only one succeeded in hitting slightly the fighter.  From behind the barabrian, lysander immediately cast a pillar of fire or what he called it a flame-strike which burnt immediately 3 of the demons.  The dark familiars advanced upon magnus and blog goth but they got hit from the fighter's deadly weapon.  Sadak shouted to step back and the barbarian did so after seeing his attack being avoided by the bat.  Sadak immediately cast a flameball killing all the remaining 5 demons and 4 bats!  The last familiar advanced but the fighter was too fast for it and attacked it injuring it lightly.  But it didn't last long as the barbarian struck it dead.  They searched among the corpses, blog goth found 178 gp and a rapier on one of the demons, the fighter picked up 112 gp and 130 gp from two different cadavers, while lysander picked up a hunter's bow from another demon and a healing potion.  Sadak found a flaming sphere scroll.
