Diablo...The Beginning

Since the Beginning of time, the forces of Order and Chaos have been engaged in a struggle to decide the fate of all Creation.

Demons seek to win this Great Conflict and, in the past, this meant warring directly against the forces of Heaven.

However, the demons have now come to see mortals as a valuable resource for their war against the Light. They fear that mortals could pose a threat if their lore continues to grow, or worse, if they ally with the side of Light.

To wage all-out-war on humanity would dangerously weaken Hell’s forces, which are already spread thin against the Hosts of Heaven.

To further complicate matter a civil war has erupted in Hell. This brutal war raged in Hell for some time whilst the forces of Heaven hammered on the very Gates of Hell. At the end the Lesser Evils stood victorious over the Three Brothers: Diablo, Mephisto and Baal. The Prime Evils were then exiled to the Mortal Realm by the Lesser Evils, who began regrouping their forces to drive back the Hosts of Heaven.

Now the Great Conflict has spilled over in to the Mortal Realm…and neither Human, Demon nor Angel will be left unscathed.

Diablo, Lord of Terror, and youngest of the Three Prime Evils, has awoken from his long slumber beneath the dark earth. Diablo has set in motion a grand scheme to free his exiled brothers, Mephisto and Baal. Diablo has taken control of the small western kingdom of Khanduras. Working from deep within the ancient catacombs beneath the town of Tristram, Diablo has the entire populace in a vice made of fear and paranoia.

In these desperate times, can a group of heroes come forward to strike a powerful blow for the forces of Light? Or is all lost to the darkness that dwells beneath Tristram…
