| Chipped gems are used for making Cruel type swords. Cruel swords can have from 200% Enhanced Damage to 350% Enhanced Damage. The recipy is one sword + three chipped gems = three socketed sword with random mod(s). There is a real low chance you will get a cruel but eventualy you will if you keep trying.
