The night fades away
leaving dew drops behind
on blades of grass
as green as your eyes.
I find you asleep
in the hay
and countless little diamonds
swallowing the newborn light
yellow - orange and red,
changing colors
in a blink of an eye.
I lay beside you, under
the blue velveted sky,
your hands soft and warm
in mine.
And countless purple flowers
waving in the wild wind
weaving our dreams
- as we smile -
in silence.
