| I used to be your guardian angel
I sit here alone - Another morning without you... Stars tremble and fade one by one in the sky, In the golden light of the sun... It's so quiet without you, so vast the abyss, The sad perspective, an impossible choice - Fly away or walk one more day - without you - I searched for one hope in your eyes But my wings are grey. I walk here alone - Another morning without you... Liquid diamonds break under my bare feet, In the golden light of the sun... A thousand butterflies burning the air. I have walked this road a hundred times and ended - without you - I searched for one hope in your eyes But my wings are grey. I used to be your Guardian angel, your smile, your shadow when you walked alone. But now in vain I sit and pray - Without you - Yet another day... In vain I look up to the sky No longer wanted, I can't fly; In vain I hoped for one more day You walked away.. You walked away! My wings are grey. D.J. (03/04/05) -angels can't die, for they are immortal.. this particular angel can't fly either, for she's been rejected, by both humans and those of her kind. she has no place, on earth or heaven...- |
