Pictured here are the four ladies who performed that night in November making "TRUE RAGGASOULJAH" a reality.Sharon Darlington is singing lead vocal. Sherry Boyce, Cathy Anne Charles and Lekisha Kirton are performing the back vocal assignments.

Don't let the good looks fool you these girls can "sang". (no doubt!)

Then, when Sharon sang lead on "True Raggasouljah" for the (Barbados Song Festival) in 1998 she also sang nightly on the hotel circuit in a quartet called "Kalypso". Sherry Boyce and Cathy Ann Charles, also make their contribution to our main industry "tourism" in a band, known as "Syndikit", where they share lead vocal duties with Darren. Lekeisha Kirton prefers for the moment to stay out of the lime light... hehehe..and travel.

Update: Sherry Boyce actually went on to win the Barbados Song Contest the following year...and represent us in Cuba with a self-penned song called "Experience The Life" ....I told you the girls could "sang" and I hope you believe me now..hehe.

Update:

Sharon Darlington went on to sing with a very popular local group called " Virtuosity " (more on them in the near future) they are "sizzling hot" and definitely worth an audience whenever you are in Barbados...with Kim Derrick and Jan Gibson they have caused quite a stir!
