Music School

Critic: Charles Fink

The project uses metaphoric translation as the bridging element between music notation and architectural element. Music conformed itself to the arrangements between sound and silence. Architecture, similarly is conceived by the making of the presence. Yet it is the created absence that allowed light to pass through and wind to breeze through. The concluded scheme attempt to explain the indifference between Music and Architecture. The program asked for a 200 seat symphonic hall, a resource/ record room, practice rooms, offices, class rooms and recording studios.
