"If MY PEOPLE which are called by my name will humble THEMSELVES and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land." "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." "And I will pour (out) the Spirit of Grace and Supplications...." II Chronicles 7:14, Proverbs 14:34, Psalm 33:12, Zechariah 12:10 Dear Lord, we acknowledge we all have sinned and fallen short of the standard you've set for us, of love and compassion justice and purity. We have chosen money over morality. We exalt the gaudy, not the God-like. We need your forgiveness. Our country is not the blessed land it was a few years ago. In the midst of our good health and prosperity, despite blessings and talents and good deeds, we've also been selfish, greedy, unbelieving, faithless, immoral and unkind. We've all done right in our own eyes. We've been unconcerned about what you think of us. Please forgive us, Lord. How we cry out to you when we hurt or need something! We are nothing without you! So, show us our sins, whether scarlet or dingy gray. And whom you love, you chasten. We choose to turn away from our sins and seek your presence, your mercy, your guidance. Please pour out your Holy Spirit, your presence, into our hearts, and turn the hearts of fathers and mothers and children toward you and to each other. For your lovingkindness is better than life. Yes, blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Please heal our land. We praise your holy name forever and ever. And on this website, that holy name is JESUS, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
