An Interview with Jesus ... (continued) R: How does the spirit world interact with the physical world? J: Indirectly, the spirits act upon your subconscious, it's those tiny little voices you hear inside of you that influence you during the day. The conscious mind is too involved in environmental issues to hear them directly but they speak constantly to the subconscious. The only direct contact between us and a subject currently in use is in dreams. That approach is used in important cases where the message must be heard without chance of garbling or error in translation. Occasionally visions are used in extreme cases, but that is a rarity. R: Why aren't there as many miracles as there were under the old testament? J: The fact is, there are. I just do things a bit more suttle than my father and I delegate to guardian angels as well. Ever been driving and narrowly escape an automobile wreck? That was me. Ever do something stupid and get injured but not severely hurt? That was me. What about all those other narrow escapes, think that was luck? Nope, it was me. Like I said, I do miracles, I am just a bit more subtle than my Father. As for why the big spectacular ones aren't coming as often as they did in the old days there are two main reasons. First the Father is quite busy with his creations and second, quite simply, because people are not as strong in their faith as they were in the early days. There was a time when people's faith was strong enough that they would enter a lion's den and be eaten alive rather than denounce God. How many people would now, would you? Think about it for a minute, just how much would you be willing to suffer before you denounced us? R: Why does it seem that the good suffer and the evil prosper on the earth? J: Because the devil owns this earth of yours. Quite logically, he tends to reward those who follow him with physical treasures and cause problems for those that oppose him. A weak person whose faith and / or beliefs can be affected by material possessions is often given them to corrupt their souls thereby keeping them under his power. It also tends to cast doubt other associated beings so that there is a tendency to be drawn towards the methods that brought the individual to physical prosperity. Such success as you call it, is short lived and God, frankly, does not waste time on it. Your reward for resisting this evil will not be here on the devils earth where it can be corrupted, but in my kingdom, where you can enjoy it for eternity. R: What do you say to those who see conflict between your words and your deeds? J: There are none, you just have to take things in the proper context. Einstein was right, he just didn't carry it far enough. Everything, even right and wrong are relative. If a man steals a loaf of bread just to get out of paying for it, it is wrong, but if he steals it because his family is starving and he has nothing to pay for it with, is it still wrong? Would it be better to let the family starve? Though in the eyes of man both may be wrong, I think it far worse to let them starve for the lack of a dollar. Just remember, things that may be wrong to you can be right to us and things that are right to you can be wrong to us. It depends on your point of view. Just remember that in the end our point of view will be the only one that matters. R: The bible is full of killing, how do you account for thou shalt not kill in the 10 commandments? J: Actually it is thou shalt not murder. Killing itself is a neutral act like so many others. The reason why the act is done defines it as a good or evil. R: Why does the Trinity allow innocents to die in great numbers? For example, the egyptian passover children, the Jews during world war 2 and the muslims during the crusades. J: Sometimes, there must be sacrifices to effect change. Yes, those things were allowed to happen, but not because the Trinity is uncaring or sadistic. If those terrible things would not have happened the good that followed them would never have occurred either. For instance, if the passover children had not died, the Israelites would never have been released from slavery, their race wound have been assimilated and their history would never have occurred. If no persecution of the Jews during world war 2, then the world would not have awakened to the horrors of the concentration camps in time to stop Hitler and you would probably be speaking German right now. There would be no international agreements on treatment of civilians and no Geneva convention. If the crusades were never fought, there would have been little knowledge of the far east and your progress as a civilization would have slowed several thousand years. Just remember, when my Father allows such things to happen, it is not always as a punishment and it dosen't mean He dosen't love you. Generally it is something that must happen to bring about a greater good You should trust in that, even if you do not understand the how or why of things. (Continued) |
