Here are some "New Herbie" Pictures!
#
This one was "Computer drawn and designed" from the Official Web Site of the New Beetle (
Official New Beetle Web Site) where you could design your own New Beetle. There were a few Herbie's, but this one was the best in my opinion. It was at the World Premiere of the New Beetle at the 1998 Detroit International Auto Show at the New Beetle Display.
This one was seen and is on Cindy's New Beetle Homepage (
http://members.aol.com/Lovebug547-another great VW Web Page).

This New Herbie is owned by Neuspeed. Not only is it made to look like Herbie the racing car, but modified to go faster like a racing car! This car can be seen at various VW shows.

This New Herbie was in the Real Source catalog. It is a kit that can be bought from there. It obviously isn't too good, but it's nice to see at least someone is interested in Herbie!

These are the Sharrett VW decals. It is a VW dealership in Maryland. The logos are cheap and there are no stripes though.

Not only is this is Brian Burrows "New Herbie", it is also the very first New Beetle on British soil! If the name sound familiar (Brian Burrows, not Herbie or British!), he is the owner of Outrage II, the only European VW funny car. This is also the first NB to be raced anywhere in the world! He had some trouble getting it over here(He got it in 1998!) He couldn't wait for it to come to Europe, so he got a Canadian model! The only colors in Canada at the time were silver, red, and white. He wanted yellow, but chose white. As long as he had white, he thought, why not make a Herbie? Also, notice the number is actually "S53", since 53 was taken. (In real life, not by Herbie)

This silver New Beetle has some nice decals! It's a great replica, and even though it's not white, the silver looks great! This Bug belongs to Becky (aka Scully).
Also, there is one "that would be in a movie if Disney would make one" (check Dave's page) with pretty correct decals and a little wider stripes. More have been seen, and there are probably more out there! Tell me if you know about any more
here!
