At some point in time, Flipside came up with some very annoying form of advertising, which was making playing on Flipside very difficult. For this reason, I decided to make public the information about how to disable all advertising on all Flipside rooms. Now that those rooms have moved to the Hoyle website, everything is becoming "hoyle". I am taking a chance that if anyone at Hoyle ever find out about this page, they will correct their software to prevent people from blocking advertisings. So I ask everyone to never reveal the existence of this page to anyone connected to the Hoyle management team ( including hosts if they still exist... ) |

To disable lobby advertising and pop-ups that come from winplay.exe |
|
|
|
1) Make sure wonplay is not running ( close it )
2) Open Explorer ( right click on Start, and click on Explore )
3) open Program files ( click on the + sign in front of Program Files )
4) open Won
5) open WONplay
you will see "AdCache" as a listed directory.
6) rename AdCache to OldAdCache
7) make a copy of Dates.ini in the WONplay directory
8) rename that copy "AdCache"
9) right-click on AdCache, and click Properties
10) check "Read-Only" and "Hidden"
11) click OK
12) if you want you can delete the OldAdCache directory later, and free up some room. |

Do not use the standard pages to access the flipside games.
Instead :
Use one of the backdoor pages available on the net like this one :
Hoyle games
or better :
Once you that page on your screen, save a copy of it on your desktop. and use your own copy for faster access. It will also reduce the number of hits on my website.
Now you can enjoy your games. |
