Israel is against tourism in the Arab countries

The state department advises no tourists to go to Israel unless they are with a guided tour. This is because the Israelis want no Americans to actually meet a Palestinian. The Israelis are also against Americans travelling to Egypt, or the Neighboring Arab countries because people would see how nice and kind the Arabs are.

Proof of this hypothesis is that when the Israelis originally made the Camp David Accords with Egypt, they were excited about having tourists "come to Israel and visit the Pyramids, too." But very soon after they dropped the Egypt packages because people were finding the truth, which is that the Egyptians are a fantastically friendly people. Now, none of the Major American tours make stops at Egypt. They do have cruises that stop in Turkey and one of the ports in occupied Palestine, Ashod, but not Egypt(Holland America Line, etc).
