"جامع قوصون هذا الجامع بالشارع خارج باب زويلة ابتدأ عمارته الامير قوصون في سنة ثلاثين و سبعمائة و كان موضعه دار بجوار حارة المصامدة من جانبها الغربي. . .وقد حضر من بلاد توريز بناء بنى هذا الجامع على مثال المئذنة التي عملها خواجا علي شاه وزير السلطان أبي سعيد في جامعه بمدينة توريز و أول خطبة أقيمت فيه . . ."

Baha al-Din Qaraqush, his vizier, had his residence there and built a famous Khan outside the Bab al-Futuh, the Khan al-Sabil, which gave free lodging to all travellers
