These images are intended to show the steps being taken to repair delaminated and worn areas of the Dexotex epoxy floor system applied 5 years ago by an authorized installer following his recommendation to Pat. Insufficient prep by me may have contributed to system delamination.

Follow-up care and up-keep recommendations will be conveyed throughout this year's process to increase knowledge of how to get the longest possible life out of this installation which the manufacturer suggests to be serviced after 3 to 5 years, depending on traffic and care. Here is a link to their site .

    New Image:

Around the edges i tried to clean the dingy surface
in an attempt to see if that area would match better.
That experiment failed.
The patch lookes allot lighter because application
of the white base coat pigment was rather thick so
the chips sank exposing too much of the base color.
After thorough cleaning of entire floor
and sanding of boarder. No clear applied yet.

New image w/flash, same angle as top left.
These are after thorough cleaning of floor
by Lucio with hose attached sprayer and then
clean-mopping. Borders have been sanded
to remove clear only and expose chips.

Newest image: pending with expectations high.
After testing potential appearance of sanded
border following the application of clear
favorable results seemed unlikely so a layer of chips
was applied to the clear and then top-coated
again with clear after normal set-time.
