Going south from Darling Run Acess point the trail passes through what is called "The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania". Leonard Harrison State Park is on the east side and Colton Point State Park is on the west side of the trail. The trail follows closely along the side of Pine Creek which really looks like a river. The hills on each side rise steeply up about 800 feet. The photo shows the smooth trail surface.
