At the town of Confluence, the Youghiogheny Trail joins the Allegheny Highlands Trail. This is where the Casselman River and Laurel Creek join to form the Youghiogheny River. There is much activity close to the trail parking lots in the small towns with families, old people, young people, walkers and bikers enjoying the trail.
