Ohiopyle is a great place for kayakers, rafters, and bikers. The town's economy is built around these activities. This is the most scenic area on the Youghiogheny River Trail. It's a good place to stop for the night with camping in the Ohiopyle State Park and economical lodging. There is a hostel but it was temporarily closed when I was there. I stayed at the Falls Market and Inn which was economical. It's a good place to walk in the evening along the river and its falls.
