In the spring of 2005, we rode between the eastern end of the trail in Wellfleet and Orleans. This part of the trail is not as scenic as the western part. It is close to a power line all the way and so it could be quite sunny. The first two miles are close to Rt. 6. There is a toilet here at the parking area by Lecount Hollow Rd. and also one about three miles south. About a mile south of Lecount Hollow Rd., the trail crosses the road to Marconi Beach and historic area.
