Reformatory Branch Trail

To reach the Reformatory Branch Trail from Depot Park, go a quarter mile on Railroad St. to the parking area. There is a portable toilet here; the only other rest room near the tail is at the entrance to Great Meadows Wildlife Preserve on Momnsen Rd. a few hundred feet from the trail.The Friends of Depot Park has a Reformatory Trail guide and map which can be downloaded or printed. A mountain bike or hybrid is needed for this trail, it is not stone dust. The width varies over the length over the length of the trail. There are many more joggers and walkers than bike riders on the trail.
