We started at the eastern end of the trail near Alexandria, PA, 18.5 miles east of Hollidaysburg on Rt. 22, then just before the bridge over the Juniata River, left on Rt. 453. About a half mile east, there is a restaurant called Di's Pizza Grille which sandwiches, soup etc as well as pizza. There is another restaurant in Alexandria a mile further. The only other restaurant we saw near the trail was in Williamsburg near the middle of the trail,
