In April, the water was still high in waterfalls along the trail.There are two pretty waterfalls near the center of the trail at Rockport. This section has many rhododendrons along the steep ridge on the west side of the trail. It would be worth seeing a little later when they bloom. There are no towns, restaurants, or stores along the trail.
