It's an interesting town to walk around in. We couldn't find an economical place to stay here so stayed a few miles away. Maybe the Jim Thorpe homepage will give some ideas of more reasonable accomodations. There is camping about two miles from town at the Mauch Chunk Lake County Park. Go to main page.
