My research at North Carolina A&T State University was focused on developing intelligent controls for wind turbines.The project was funded by Department of Energy / National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The work comprised of designing adaptive and neural network controllers for variable speed wind turbines by tracking the rotor speed of wind turbines and test simulating the design for its performance.
