Before becoming a member of The Muscle Shirts, Jon spent 7 years in Alaska. Jon attended the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and worked for the Agriculture and Forestry Experiment Station at the University. Jon also worked briefly at Ft. Knox Gold Mine (7th largest producer of gold in the world). It was here that Jon discovered that he had Hodgkins Disease. Over the past 6 months, Jon moved back to Iowa and has been receiving chemotherapy. He will be finished with the treatments at the end of June and has recently learned that he is cancer free! Currently, Jon is working for Ag Advisory, Ltd.
