About Our  Teacher

Danielle Haussling was born and raised in Atlantic City,  New Jersey. In the  first grade she knew she wanted to be a teacher. Therefore, she always strived to do well in school.  She obtained her AA in education from Atlantic Cape Community College.  From there, she went on to what is known as the "teacher college", Rowan University.  There she received her BA in English with secondary education certification with advance standing.

Mrs. Haussling has always loved working with children.  She has taught preschool for several years.  She has worked at Barbarito and Beyers, By Faith We Care, and Atlantic Care Kids.  During the summer she also worked at Harrah's nursery and later became Summer Camp Supervisor of Atlantic City Housing Authority. "Since children are our future I take great pride in contributing to the well being of our society by providing children with the tools to succeed," Mrs. Haussling stated.

Mrs. Haussling is a mother of two sons and has a loving husband who is also in the field of education.  In her spare time she likes to create all sorts of things on her computer and she is also a wedding planner.  She likes art, music, travel, dance, and movies.  She also loves reading.  What do you expect she is an English teacher.  She says, "With every book I read I become that much wiser and I am in love with learning."

In her class we learn language arts, social studies, reading and character education, but the most important lesson is life.  Mrs. Haussling tries her hardest to show us how each subject is crucial to our lives and that we must cherish education. "Learning is the key to unlock any door," she explains "I want my students to be able to make wise choices, think critically, be empathetic and caring, and above all have faith in themselves that they really can be whatever they want to be.  It just takes hard work and determination."
