Prince of Persia: Sands Of Time

Everything about this game ROCKS! This reviewer has played the ps2 version of the game, and while playing it people saw and thought it was running on the xbox. The graphics are that beautiful and the animation truly brings the game to life and sets new standards. You maybe wondering , "Yeah, great graphics dont make a great game," but this game's best feature is its incredibly addictive gameplay. The controls are so easy and responsive that making the prince somersault, run on walls, and do other feats a sinch to perform. Its unlike anything seen in games today.

This game has platforming, fighting and puzzling and blends them into an extraordinary new level of gaming experience. The puzzles are very good and based on logic (ahem!! Resident Evil). The story is also suprisingly good. This game has a twist which I bet no one can expect. Ubisoft also did a very good job with the sound, music and voice acting. Lets just say this reviewer grinned wide hearing some of the prince's oneliners :) .

POP is not perfect as it has some minor flaws in an otherwise superb package. First of is the combat system, which does not have enough depth and variety compared to rest of the game. Don't get me wrong, its still way better than the other combat stuff you see in other games, its just that it doesnt measure up to the high production values of the rest of the game. Then there is the length. The game lasts 10 hours, but this was soo good that I ended up wanting more.... and more and more. I maybe nitpicking here but it runs in 30 fps and it would have been cool to have it in 60 fps.

These minor flaws really dont hamper the gameplay at all, which is sweet. POP is one superb experience, therefore I call this my "Game of The Year" sorry "Knights of The Old Republic."

Dissapointment:

1. Medal of Honor Rising Sun '' dont let the first ten minutes fool you ,rest is crap and boring '' (all formats ).

2. Dino Crisis 3 (xbox) '' ruins the whole franchise ''

3. Need For Speed Underground (all formats ) '' good but doesnt live up to the standards of hot pursuit 2 , track design

and repetitive gameplay ruins what would have been awesome ''
