Violin is considered to be the most versatile musical instrument in the 
world. At the same time it is also the most difficult instrument to learn and 
master. 

     I began learning violin in December 2001. That was also the time when I 
took it into my hands for the first time in my life. I started learning it
under the guidance of Mr. Anand Godse in Kothrud, Pune, and learnt for 
around four months from him. In February 2002, I purchased my own violin, so 
that I could practise more at home. Then I decided to change my teacher. I went 
to Mrs. Rashmi Soman and started taking violin lessons from her since June 2002.

     I appeared for the violin written exam. on 24 Nov. 2002. The violin 
practical exam. is on 6th December 2002. The name of this exam. is "Praveshika 
Poorna". This is actually the third exam, which I directly took, skiping the 
first two.
