Useful Atlantis Links

Last updated 6th February 2006

Here is a collection of links which contain details on current games, utilities, or just infomation I consider useful.

Current Atlantis Games:

Arno's Atlantis is a great version of Atlantis. It is running on version 4.10 with slight modifications. It is currently in game year 8 and there are still room for new players.

Atlangame is another game currently running. It has over 100 people playing and runs a custom version of Atlantis 4.10k.

Atlantis Arcadia is an Atlantis game which I have never played, yet I often hear good things about it. The games listed here always have interesting rules and are quite different to normal games. I believe it is based on version 5.

Mclantis is a version of Atlantis 5.0. It has a lot of differences to normal games so I expect that it is more for experienced players. I am not 100% sure it is still running, yet I have read people mention it, so check it out if you are interested.

Tarmellion is another Atlantis 4.10 game. It is a very complicated version of Atlanitis which relies heavily on roleplaying. I played this game for a while, yet I found it very taxing. It uses a very intense structure of different races and I remember it having around 6 playing levels... so it is very deep.

The Lost Land is a 5.0 game which is being run that allows email and web interaction. I think it is based on a small map, around 32x32.

Utilities and other sites:

Atlantis little helper is a freeware program that you can use to read your reports and issue orders. I haven't played around too much with it yet. But it looks elegant.

Atlantis Crystal Ball Is a very pretty client program for Atlantis. I used to use it a long time ago, and I recommend it to players in classic games of Atlantis.

All things Atlantis is a site which is devoted to all things atlantis. Mostly it is for Altantis v.5 and programming.

Atlantis Little Helper is a great client for Atlantis players. I have been using this for a few years now and I find it very useful. It seems to be more accepting of changes in the middle of a game and it also is more accepting of allies turn reports.

Atlantis Advisor looks like a great client. It has a great interface and has features that seems to be lacking from other clients. I don't think it is as accepting of changes or allies reports as other clients, yet it is still a great looking program.

Atlantibots Homepage is a programming site which has useful files which can assist in running large alliances, or just to help you to maintain your faction.

The Atlantis Project Page by Geoff Dunbar creator of Atlantis 2 and 3. There is a link there to other games but I believe it is not that up to date.

If you are into programming then you should check the Atlantis Developer's Board and help making this great game even better.

Peter Christie has a very comprehensive page with lots, lots of links.
