The East Central Neighborhood Partnership Project
The East Central Neighborhood Partnership Center, a HUD COPC Project, is a collaboration between the Community Colleges of Spokane, and Eastern Washington University. Rhosetta Rhodes, SFCC Community Service Learning, is project director, while Dr. Dick Winchell, FAICP, is faculty coordinator for EWU. The program is carried out in Partnership with six community-based organizations:
  The East Central Neighborhood Council;
  The East Central Community Organization;
  The East Spokane Business Association;
  The South Perry Business Association;
  Spokane Neighborhood Economic Development Association (SNEDA);
  AHANA Minority Business Programs.

The Goals of the Program are:
1) Job Training through the CCS Work Keys Program and related services;
2) Job Creation through the CCS SBDC and EWU's Entrepreneurship Center;
3) Completion and implementation of a Neighborhood Plan through EWU's Urban Planning Programs. (see web link below).
