Old & New Friends

It was not originally clear to me, what the "benefits" of doing my own web page would be... it is so great to hear, how MUCH many of you, especially those "afar", enjoy the pictures, etc. - but the greatest "joy" for me is the realization of how truly "blessed" I have been in my past/present life... in having all of YOU, who have been such a wonderful part of it!

One of my favorite verses is "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6) Many people tell me that I am a "lucky" person... "end up fallin in slop and come out smellin like a rose". Believe instead... that His will has been done, but many of my prayers have still been answered... not from my "own" doing, because I truly don't "deserve" these blessings in my life... but can only give the glory to Him, for His mercy on me...

Believe it is like the sacrifice His son, Jesus Christ, made for us... it is ONLY from these "gifts", if WE choose to receive them, that we spend eternity with Him, through His grace... there is no better "gift giver"... and many search a lifetime looking for "true love"... have only found One that is truly capable of this kind of sacrificial and "unconditional love"...

FAVORITE BIBLE CHARACTER: David... because he "messed up" so many times, but confessed his sins and was a man after God's own heart... (Acts 13:22)

FAVORITE BOOKS in the BIBLE: Philippians, Ephesians, Proverbs, The Gospels, ...
