| My Thoughts, Complex or Simple? | ||||
| Alright people, if you found this page, well, this is where i will be posting my ideas and whatnot. First subject, this game that me and a few friends are going to be making a game in IACP (Independent Advanced Computer Projects) and i've been trying to think of a system that we can base our stats off of. First of all, total stats, im thinking of 4 stats: Strength, Agility, Vitatility, and Energy. Ok, strength will be what damage is based off of, Agility would be speed and attack speed, Vitality will be their max HP and armor points, and Energy will basically be your special technique gauge and how long you can block and sprint for. I would like all of the stats to equal a total of 20 (i.e 5 str, 5 agil, 5 vit, 5 eng) and it would also help with balancing issues. ok, these formulas may change but this is how i would like it to be as of now, my opinions may change afterall. Strength: Attack Damage - Str x 4 Agility: Attack Speed would equal the agility but since this is probably the most complex stat ill just leave attack speed alont for now. Same goes for run speed, we will probably have things such as 7 agility = very fast run and attack speed. Also attack speed will be based off of what weapon we use. Vitality: HP - Vitality x 100 Armor - Vitality alone, each point of armor would subtract one point of damage. Energy: Energy Gauge - Energy x 50 Basically the energy gauge would be how long you can run and the amount of special techniques you can use. Thats my thoughts for now, LATER! |
