| The IHSA State Finals consist of a two day tournament that selects the best of the state's bowlers. After qualifying as an individual out of the Hinsdale South Sectional, Katie Butcher took Julie Todd (left) and Megan Ryan (right) on the three day trip to Rockford, Illinois. | First things first, let's go to the mall!!! Every year we go to the beautiful....um, make that small Cherry Valley Mall. (What do these people do without Fox Valley?) After lunch I need to go and buy some PEZ candy, food of champions. I wonder if I can make Coach pay for it again this year...hummm... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Look, it's Cherry Bowl! (Have you noticed that everything in this town is named "Cherry" something? There is a Cherry Hotel as well...scarry huh?) The state tournament is held here every year (at least the last four I've been to). We scheduled our practice time for the afternoon so we could hit the mall first. | It's a Rockford tradition to decorate the hotel room doors for good luck! Looks like DGS is here!!! Megan had the "brilliant" idea to caulk Coach Brasen's door with silly string and I got yelled at for it! It was all okay though because we nailed him in the hall on the way back from dinner. For the record, he was a pretty good sport about the whole thing...although he keeps saying he's going to get us back! | Another team tradition, the trip to TARGET! Megan had a little too much fun with the Rock N' Roll Ernie there... We even got to go to Best Buy this year!
