I decided it was time to get something with torque and power in a cordless drill. I looked at Dewalt, Porter-Cable, Milwaukee, Sears and Makita to compare power and cost [I hate paying high dollar for cordless, I already own a corded.] and all the other options. I came across the Black and Decker 14.4v Firestorm. It had all the power as the other name brand and was fifty to seventy-five dollars cheaper.
Well I have to tell you, I’ve used the others, but I love this Black and Decker! It has all the power as the others I’ve used and I have yet to find anything the drill does not handle.
If I was in the business and using a cordless drill everyday, I’d be looking at Dewalt, Milwaukee or Porter-Cable. But if you use your drill maybe three or four days a week in your garage or workshop, then the Firestorm 14.4v will make you happy over the long haul. You can't go wrong with this drill, price or power.
