This information from letter posted by Joyce Brownlow who has had some connection and knowledge of Leland Terry, son of Matthew R. Terry " Leland Eugene Terry died 30 May 1999 in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon. He died ....... at Good Samaritan Hospital. Leland was born 29 Feb 1916. His services were held in St. Helens. Leland was an interior designer (maybe an engineer/architect) and he designed and built his beautiful home on a cliff over the Columbia River. He bought the property from the Brownlow family. We visited him a couple of times, ...the house was built on stilts over the cliff - the living room was free standing - and it did move most of the time. We lived not too far from him on Belton Road, however our home was not on a cliff, but on solid ground above our beach area on the river. That time period would have been between 1978-80 ...
