VICTORIAN MIXED TENPIN CLUB
The Victorian Mixed Tenpin Club was founded in 1978 by a group of keen bowlers, at the Mentone Bowling Centre.
The original name adopted for the Club was the
"Victorian Mens Tenpin Bowling Club"
The word  Bowling was dropped in 1979 and the Club then became the "Victorian  Mens Tenpin Club", known as the "V.M.T.C".
In 1983, due to falling membership the Club was opened up to include women and juniors.  The name was changed to "Victorian Mixed Tenpin Club", still keeping the initials "V.M.T.C".
In its heyday, the Club boasted a membership of 168.
The current membership now stands at 62
