Joey's Lookout, a rest area off the highway, overlooking the town of Gambo, Newfoundland. Joey Smallwood successfully brought Newfoundland and Labrador into Canada as the tenth province in 1949. Prior to that, Newfoundland and Labrador were part of Great Britain. Joey is the last "Father of Confederation".
