This was the only figure we could find of Jacques Cartier, the famous French explorer who reached the east coast of North America in 1534. It is located at the Caf� des Artistes in Gasp�. Cartier explored the Gulf of St. Lawrence and travelled up the St. Lawrence River as far as what are now Qu�bec City and Montr�al.
