I'm writing to tell you,
I don't love you anymore.

I never have.
the truth is,
I tried, but never found you adoration anything other than arduous.
Your niceties clichéd,
Your praise thoughtless.
It has become unbearably obvious,
that you love me with all the originality of romance novels;
the lovely woman weakening the luscious flower.
But do not be sad,
nothing is lost.
neither of us even loved the other truly-

I cannot say if I died or I fell,
I feel like I'm slipping into an endless well.
I will wake up to blue skies,
but I know in my heart, they're your hazel eyes.

The waterfall of colors that make your hair,
leaves me breathless without compare.
to touch you is not to hold you.
to hold you is never enough.
For in your arms, my soul is born
always to remind me when we're apart.
I can never thank you with words it seems,
but you're always in my dearest dreams.
I've traveled so far to come so near,
How can I explain my deepest fears.
Can I love you for more than a day,
or will my secret desires drive you away.
Only in your heart can you really see,
for tomorrows past has seen it's day,
and in my heart you'll always stay.

The Wall
Reconstructed nightmares, dwindling in my mind,
make up bricks and stones
blocking the passages of forgotten words my lips will never find.
I look up and view this great wall
that entraps my greenhouse world,
and my fingertips are scorched
As I run them over ragged edges of cement that are greatly laced with savage thoughts.
Screaming rage and anger of frustrating phrases unknown to my tongue.
My mind clinches,
Not knowing the luxury of expression that a bulldozer or cold steel would bring.
I cling in this wretchedness.
I outwardly smile, and you caress my hand,
burning and sheltering love in your heated looks, touches and tastes.
I find myself crumbling around your warmth.
I open my moistened eyes, and the wall is in my mind
falling fast, hard!
because of you.
But I'll love you always.

Eternity
Take me into the darkness, and out of the light
hold me in your arms, hidden from sight
Watch over me, protect me, give me all your love
I'll give you everything I am, and everything I've done.
When the darkness is no more, and the light is gone as well,
The two of us shall live as one, in Heaven or in Hell.

What do you Want?
There's still many things that I wish I could say,
but I don't cause I still think they'll push you away.
There's a time and a place for things to be said,
and I wish I could unscramble these thoughts in my head.
It's getting harder to figure out what's going on in your mind.
I try to look deep in your eyes and see what I can find.
Sometimes when I look in them I can see how much you care,
But sometimes when I look in them, I don't see anything there.
I'm so confused on were I stand, I don't know what to do.
I want to continue what we have, but do you want that too?
a simple yes or no is all you have to say
So I don't have to think about it every night and day.

If I Only Had Her
If I only had her, I could show her how much I care,
and if she ever needed me, I would always be there.
If I only had her always by my side,
I'd never be lonely or feel empty inside.
If I only had her love so true,
my winter skies would always be blue.
I'd never miss her, and I'd always know,
that there's someone there when I come home.
If I only had her, all the pain and longing in my heart would fade,
away with the dawn of a brand new day.
My soul would return with a new sense of peace,
and my mind would always be at ease.
If I only had her, I could make her always mine.
I'd sweep her off her feet and always keep her close in mind.
If I only had her I'd always keep her safe.
and with a yes, I'd vow to be her perfect mistake.
If I only had her, I'd never be afraid,
to wake up with the light of a new day.
I'd tell her I love her and my heart would always be true,
I'd never let her slip away. She'd always be mine, my one and only love so true.
