| About Us |
| OUR MEMBERSHIP There are currently over 300 Delta Gammas living in Hartford County. Our members are young ladies just out of college, celebrated fifty-year members, working women with and without children and stay-at-home moms. OUR PROGRAMS Because of the diversity of our membership we strive to provide programs to meet the needs of all sisters. We've created a mix of Tea Socials (Fall/New Member Reception), weekend lunch/brunch (Founder's Day), weekday evening dinners (DG Dine Outs), and special occasion parties (Holiday Pot Luck Auction to benefit the Foundation). While some events are for sisters only, we also have events that spouses, children and/or friends are often invited to join us. We hope you'll find something that meets your needs. If you have an idea for a new event, please contact Tracy S. WHAT WE DO FOR FOUNDATION We 'do good' each year by donating funds raised to various organizations that share our focus on aid to the blind and sight conservation, including New England's only guide dog school, the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. Our chapter also contributes to the Delta Gamma Foundation each year as well as to the Eta Beta Chapter at the University of Hartford and the Epsilon Pi Chapter at the University of Connecticut. Our biggest Foundation related event is the Holiday Pot Luck Auction. This year's event raised over $430 for the Foundation. We are always looking for additional ways to "do good" throughout the community. If you have any ideas, have been donating your time with a service for sight related group or would like to find out more about our Foundation related events, please contact Tracy S. WHAT OUR MEMBERS' DUES PAY FOR Membership in our chapter is a bargain. You get everything mentioned above for the low, low price of $30 per year!
