Disappointment
They think it's all for them. Too many expectations, yet you are the
one who pays the price for their inevitable disappointment. They want
what they cannot have because for them life should be a fairy tale, but
they won't have a happy ending. Too much importance placed upon the
mundane, not that which has been striven for, but that which was given
and required no effort. They want to be seen, they want that which is
pleasing to the eye, shallow as it is. Implicit unspoken demands which
cannot be met. But they expect you to try, to be.
Disappointment all round.
