The
Delta Gamma Motto: Do Good
Our
National Philanthropy: Sight Conservation and Aid to the Blind
We offer a number of opportunities for members to volunteer their time
for the Blind and visually impaired community in Boulder, or to raise money
for the Delta Gamma
Foundation or Anchor Center for Blind Children in Denver.

Reading "on-air" for Radio Reading Service
of the Rockies
From their Boulder and Colorado Springs studios, this volunteer based
organization provides information to the blind and visually impaired community
along the Front Range. Their signal can be picked up via cable television,
the SAP setting on most stereo TVs, or through a special receiver provided
to listeners free of charge. They have an on-line application if you are
interested in reading for them, or you can contact Amanda Ryan for more
details at [email protected].

Clip soup labels
Collect labels, jar lids and UPC codes from Campbell's soup, Swanson
broth, Franco American, V8, Pepperidge Farm, Prego and Pace products.
Send them to Tricia Carpenter (contact her at [email protected]
for her mailing address), and she will forward them on from the whole group.
Total points from our donations will go towards educational products for
the Anchor Center in Denver. All labels need to be sent to Tricia by January
1, 2002, and a prize will be given to the woman who donates the most. Last
year Ruthie Selch was our winner. For a complete listing of acceptable
product labels, click to the Campbell's Soup Labels
for Education site.

Log onto http://www.iGive.com for your
on-line shopping.
They list Delta Gamma Foundation as one of the charities they will
donate money to when you shop through their site. So sign on today! They
have over 500 vendor sites, and a percentage of everything you purchase
will go to Foundation. In fact, just referring more shoppers to their site
will also get more money for Foundation, so spread the word!
