For fiction I mostly read sci-fi/fantasy. My favorite types are good "first contact" and alternate history type stories.
For non-fiction, I have interests in behavioural psychology, histories of ancient cultures (with emphasis on Greek, Egyptian, Mayan, Aztec, and Incans), computer technologies (graphics, artificial intelligence)
All time favorite fiction? There's many, but Anthony's Incarnations of Immoratlity series I like, as well as his Tarot series. I've recently read and loved Harry Potter (ok, it's supposed to be children's literature, but I like good stories, and this one has some time honoured themes and values that make it a fun read).
