MONDAYS � GRADES 1 & 2
Dates classes meet: 2/2, 2/23, 3/2,3/9,3/16,3/30, 4/20, 4/27 ARONOROBICS $110.00 / Instructor: Sheri Aronowitz Come on and move it...move it! Exercise, dance and laugh with Ms. Aronowitz. Bring your sneakers and your energy! Let�s get healthy and physically fit! BOARDGAMES $110.00/ Instructor: Tara Fucci Come play board games! In this class we will play some classic board games like Monopoly, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit and Checkers. We will also learn new games such as Catch Phrase, Scene It DVD and Cranium Cariboo. A fun-filled hour that will fly by. CREATIVE CREATIONS $120.00/ Instructor: Sarah Thomson If you love arts and crafts then this is the class for you! Each week we will make a new creation! Some of the activites include puppet making, painting, making a flower pot and more! CHECKMATE! $135/ Instructor: Silvio Rosato Review basic checkmates, notation, full games with tactics and demonstration. PLAY! Whether you are a beginner or already know how to play chess, this class is for you! Spend an hour learning a classic game of strategy that is fun and gets you thinking.. TUESDAYS � GRADES 1 & 2 Dates classes meet: 2/3, 2/10, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/24, 3/31, 4/14 LEGO/K'NEX $165.00/ Instructor: Kathleen McCarthy-Udoff class time: 2:40 - 4:00. Amaze your friends and family with your ability to construct almost anything! Use tons of imagination and creativity to build your own space rocket, racing car, or star wars ship! Discover where your imagination can take you. Work individually or build with your classmates. This class develops social, fine motor, and presentation skills in a fun, nurturing environment. Bring home your creation at the end of the session. . STAGE STRUCK $147.00/ Instructor: Ellen Flaks class time: 2:40-4:00 Come and stretch your "imagination muscles!" With Ellen�s big colorful bags of puppets, dress-up and props the kids will act out a variety of silly stories and make up a few of their own. Ellen creates a safe environment where kids can relax, take risks, express themselves creatively and have fun all while learning valuable acting skills! Parents are invited to the last class. ANIMATED CLASSICS SONG & DANCE $110/ Instructor: Janetta Betz An introductory musical theatre class that is fun-filled and energetic. Children learn acting, singing and dancing skills in a comfortable and nurturing environment along with classic animated stories and music. The first step in fulfilling your child's dream to perform is to provide them with the necessary skills. A favorite throughout Westchester! THURSDAYS � GRADES 1 & 2 Dates classes meet: 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2 MAD SCIENCE - Secret Agent Lab $125.00/ Instructor:TBD Come spark imaginative learning with us this semester! Our hands-on, one-hour science programs are themed around a particular area of science and include exciting hands-on activities, spectacular demonstrations, and weekly take home projects. This semester we'll be offering "Secret Agent Lab". some of the classes in this system include: Spy Academy, Slueths on the Scene, Craking the Case, Whodunnit? and more. DETECTIVE CLUB $110.00/ Instructor: Tiffany Tarrats Join the Detective Club where we solve mysteries and have lots of fun playing I spy, Cam Jansen, having scavenger hunts and much more! ADVENTURES IN DANCE $110.00/Instructor: Michelle Rafferty Come Prepared to dance your heart out to a variety of cross cultural music. Explore dance without having to be limited to one particular style of dance. Dance, exercise and have fun! HELPING HANDS $160.00/ Instructor: Tara Fucci class time: 2:40-4:00. Students will take part in cooking, arts & crafts and writing projects while learning the importance of giving back to the community. During each class students will cook items and make projects that will then be handed out through our community to people in need. Activities include making cookies for the homeless, making tissue boxes for the elderly, Valentine cards, and much more! Students will also make projects to take home. |
