AMERICAN GIRL "HER-STORY"

We will journey through history with the American Girl stories & American Girl dolls with attention to American History details with historically accurate books written about them. Each time period story tells "her story" for girls to assiciate with and learn from with interactive play & crafts & festive celebrations with dolls dressed up in their time-period attire! Each student enrolled will be given a doll to use for the class.

MAD SCIENCE - Secret Agent Lab

Come spark imaginative learning with us this semester! Our hands-on, one-hour science programs are themed around a particular area of science and include exciting hands-on activities, spectacular demonstrations, and weekly take home projects. This semester we'll be offering "Secret Agent Lab". some of the classes in this system include: Spy Academy, Slueths on the Scene, Craking the Case, Whodunnit? and more.
CARTOON DRAWING

Basic Cartooning/Comic book art drawing skills. If you can draw circles, squares, triangles (basic shapes) you can learn to draw anything you are interested in. This includes funny cartoon characters, super-heroes, animals, dinosaurs, monsters, etc.
FUN WITH YARN

Learn all the basics of knitting and make yourself a headband, bookmark or scarf. All levels welcome; beginners will learn the basics and more advanced students can get help with more complex projects such as hats. We will knit, dye our own yarn, make pom poms and more.
MOSAICS FOR THE FIRST TIME

Students will learn the ancient mosaic secrets of the Romans as well as fun modern techniques to create a beautiful take-home mosaic project. The art of mosaic involves sequencing, perspective, use of negative and positive space and problem-solving skills which students learn in a fun and positive environment.
