The Final Strech
Students who scored 71 and above on the second quiz (Quiz 1) are invited with us to Sodore this Saturday, August 14. Meet in the school's courtyard at 8:30am. We will return to the University around 5:30pm. Bring money for lunch.
Network Problems: We are aware of these problems. We believe that you should be able to complete labs 12 & 13 by Tuesday at 4:30pm. Let your section leader know if this is a problem.
OCW Announcements:
Quiz 1 Results
Labs 8 - 11 for the regular class will be due on Wednesday at 4:30pm (moved from Monday) because of our absence. If you have not gotten your labs 1 - 4 back, see your section leader. They have been graded and ready since Monday.
JDK CDs now available. If you are registered, check one out from your section leader. If you are not registered, ask around until you find a copy. Here is a free unzip program if you need it to unzip Eclipse or the Javadoc.
If you are at the university, please access these materials at their mirror. It will be faster for you and decrease the load on the university servers.
The mirror is at http://10.5.13.50/www/
Lab Submission Procedure: All registered students must submit their labs in the following manner. Create a Java folder on your network drive. Then create separate folders within the Java folder for each lab. Label them as Lab00, Lab01, Lab02, etc. Place all of your files for Lab 1 in the Lab01 folder, all of your files for Lab 2 in the Lab02 folder, etc. When you turn in labs, you will simply submit your Java folder. We will not grade labs not submitted in this manner.
To submit labs, open \\w2ks-6\java folder. There should be a folder with your name. Inside that folder, copy your Java folder from your network drive. If there is not a folder there with your name, put a new folder in the AITI Goofed folder and come tell us. Curious about how we created all those folders? Check out the Java code.
Please ask us if you have questions. Submission should be easy for both us and you.
