The parent trap is your standard family film, that should not have gone over 1.5 hours (I think it clocked in at 2 hours). Anyone who cannot stand to watch a purely Hollywood film should not go see this because it contains all of the cliches. I too, would not have seen this film were it not for an earlier incident which prevented my viewing of Blade after the first ten minutes. Nevertheless, the girl actor in it plays her role well, and I do get surprised at how one character can play two people (I mean, you can hardly ever tell that there's trickery going on) and how interaction can be feigned so well. THere was some humour in the film, but we've seen it all before in other films. I need not say more, but considering how long the film went on for, I'm surprised it has made any money at all in the Box Office (I think it's close to 60 mil in the us!).
