What color am I in a team multiplayer game?
To see what color you are when playing a team game in multiplayer mode, press the "K" button on the keyboard. This will bring up a list of all the players. The color of their name is the color of their team. If it is a bright green color, this person is just starting to join the game. To get out of this view, press "K" again. To see the top ten list in the upper left hand corner again, press "K" a third time.
How many people are playing?
To see how many people are playing, just look at the number in the upperleft hand corner of the screen. If you want to see all of their names, just press "K". To get back to the original screen, press "K" twice.
How do I come back to life?
To come back to life, either right click on the mouse button, or press the "S" button, or whatever key you assigned the scope to. If you do not respawn right away, there might be a timeout time before you can rejoin. You can see how much time you have to stay out by looking at the top of the screen. If you are playing a Novalogic game, there will be no time out. If you are in a public room, there might be a time out.
How do I change weapons?
Changing a weapon is really simple. All you have to do is press 1 for you knife, 2 for your sidearm, 3 for mode one of your primary weapon, 4 for mode two of your primary weapon, 5 for mode three of your primary weapon, 6 for mode one of your secondary weapon, 7 for mode two of your secondary weapon, 8 for mode three of your secondary weapon, 9 for a frag grenade, 0 for your laser designator.
How do I see the map?
To see the map, press "C" on your keyboard. To have a color map, press F10, to have a contour map, press F11.
How do I lay prone, crouch, and stand back up?
To lay prone, press "Page Down" on the keyboard. To crouch, press "END" on the keyboard. To stand back up, press "Delete" on your keyboard.
How do I connect to a multiplayer game? How do I host?
To connect to a multiplayer game, make sure you are connected to the internet at 28.8K or faster using a modem or cable modem. Start a Delta Force game and choose your soldier and choose "Multiplayer Game" from the list of choices. From there, click on "Play a multiplayer game". You can now change your weapons, put in passwords and other things. If you are new at this, make sure your connection type reads: "Novaworld". Now choose join. Now, click on a room you want to join. You can find me in "A Good Day To Die" most of the time.
If you want to host a game, instead of choosing "play a multiplayer game", choose "Host a multiplayer game". Change your options and click "start hosting".
