Lake George, NY 2005 and 2006
In 2005, we stayed at the Adirondack Camping Village, and in 2006, we stayed at the Lake George RV Park.  Both are nice places, but the Adirondack Camping Village was more like camping to us.  It is smaller, and very wooded, which afforded a good bit of privacy between the sites.  The Lake George RV Park had lots of activities, and 3 pools, but seemed more like a trailer park to us, and it was a bit more expensive.  We would go back to both again, but my first choice would be for the Camping Village.

A piper from the 42nd Reg. of Foot, (The Black Watch) continues playing the regiment on, after losing his leg to a cannon ball during the Battle of Carillon in 1758.  History if full of tales of Valor such as this by pipers in the Highland Regiments.
Q?: What do you do when camping, and it rains.....A: Play cards, or...
...build boats at the Adirondack Museum
Dad, if the Jamicans can do it, then I can!
(a bobsled used in the 1980 Olympics)
...and what do you do when the sun is shining, why rent a pontoon boat, and spend the day cruising Lake George with great friends.
