Virginia's Historic Triangle |
The Historic Triangle consists of Virginia's three major settlements from back during the American Revolution; Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. Tourists would not only be able to walk through these settlements and embrace history, but they were able to take-part in tours and watch replayed events of the past. According to article writer Randy Mink, a few of the events that could be witnessed in Colonial Williamsburg are parades and even "an authentic funeral procession on Duke of Gloucester Street" (Mink). If guests wished, they could even see a real time colonial fort or Indian village in Jamestown. Considering all three sites are fairly close to each other, tourists did not have to worry about the hassle of driving long distances to visit all three in a short time frame (Mink). |
