All About Diana
My name is Diana Fannin, and I live here in York County. I'm an all-around fun kind of gal; then again I have to be since I have two crazy little brothers who drive me crazy. My family and I originally moved here from Japan after my freshman year in high school. So I have not been here for that long. I guess you can say I'm your average military brat. I am half Filipino and half Caucasian. Although I am half, I don't really speak my native language. The reason I am taking summer courses here at Thomas Nelson Community College is because I have been putting off going to school for a while now. Hopefully I will be able to attain my associate?s degree in business administration by the end of next summer. For now, I am just taking it easy and only taking two classes here and working so I can get somewhat of a jump on my education.
Asides from working and going to school this summer, I plan to enjoy myself and have fun. I do a lot of shopping on the weekends when I do not have a whole lot to do. My favorite places to shop are Tyson's Corner up in D.C. and Short Pump Mall in Richmond. Shopping usually keeps my mind occupied from all the drama and busy life I went through during the rest of the week. Of course, if I am not out shopping, I am usually out with my friends having a great time.
My friends and I go to the AMC theatres often to go watch the latest movie that is out. The last one we saw was The Da Vinci Code on Friday and Over the Hedge on Saturday. Usually, before we go to a movie, we almost have ourselves a wonderful meal at a fancy restaurant. Eating out can be quite expensive though, so we try not to go to restaurants all of the time, and go to a fast food place once in awhile instead. Another fun thing I enjoy doing is hanging out at the beach on a nice summer day. The water is a great place to be when it is extremely hot outside. If I am not doing one of those four, then I can probably be found hanging out at random places like Starbucks, just taking a nice drive to view the scenery, or at home enjoying a nice book.
